The festive season is ON and you don’t want to fallback to your old boring traditional dresses. So here are few quick ways you can spice up your boring Indian attire.

Here’s how the story goes- I bought this ivory floral palazzo pants and top set for less from @indya than $50 dollars last year and it was sitting in my closet unused ( I felt the outfit was a little dull for any event) . I recently cleaned out my closet and then found a couple of things that I could re-purpose for some trendy looks. I am all for sustainable fashion and heck why not?

So here are the 3 looks I created
Look 1: Accessorize! Accessorize ! Accessorize!
No matter how boring your outfit is; Accessories does not fail to add a pop to it. From chunky earrings to a chic handbag, these tiny things make such a huge difference to your overall look.
First up I kept the primary outfit and added in a pair of shiny gold heels. An accented Meenakari ring + Kundan jumki’s completely transformed the look .
Style your hair with half up and half down and pull in a bright colored long shrug to complete the look.

Look 2: Chic and here to Stick!
If you are looking for a chic outfit, add in some white and gold! I switched to a stylish peplum top from @lulus and paired it with a thin gold belt.
I threw in a pair of chunky gold Jhumkis and a pearl headband ( Yes! you read that right! That’s a headband I re-purposed as a necklace). Snagged a gold sequin purse and slipped into a pair of gold heels and I’m ready to go.
Style your hair with a high knot or ponytail to create a style statement.

This outfit is perfect for any wedding where you don’t want to be overdressed but still want your outfit to be game on! It can also be worn to any ethnic event or party.
Look 3: There is a shade of red for every woman!
Is it just me or does anyone else also find any outfit in RED too appealing? While shopping, for any event where I want to dress up, I always lean on red for the grandeur.

I paired the palazzo pants with a red crop top from @revolve and it instantly brightened by outfit SO SOOO much. For the statement jewellery, I wore a pearl waist chain and Ah! it was such a great traditional add on.
Next I added in pair of matching gold and pearl earrings and necklace. Complete the look with a contrasting chiffon gotta patti chunni or mirror work dupatta.
I styled my hair straight for this look, but light curls or waves also are a great option.
